Biographical note: Tucson contractor, Lewis Hall joined the Arizona Sons of Confederate Veterans organization in 1950. Soon, he led the organization coordinating activities between Arizona and the national headquarters in Mississippi. He later became chairman of the preparations for the centennial commemoration of the Civil War in Arizona between 1960 and 1964.
